These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of our website and to any order you place with us, whether through the website or through our official WhatsApp or Instagram channels. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. Please read them together with our Shipping & Delivery and Returns policies.

1. About us

This website is operated by Shakti Weaves. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Shakti Weaves, and "you" refers to anyone visiting the website or placing an order.

2. Products and descriptions

• We aim to describe each saree accurately, including its fabric, weave, colour, measurements, blouse-piece details and care instructions. Please read the full product description before ordering.
• We describe a product as handloom, handwoven, machine-woven or hand-embroidered only where this has been confirmed for that specific product. Weaving methods differ between collections.
• Not every saree necessarily includes a blouse piece. Blouse-piece details are stated in each product listing.
• Photographs are intended to show each saree as accurately as possible. Slight colour differences may occur because of lighting, photography and screen settings.
• Slubs, weave variations, texture differences and minor irregularities can be natural characteristics of certain fabrics and traditional textile processes, and are not defects.
• If you have any question about a product, including colour, texture, border, pallu or blouse piece, please contact us before ordering. We can share additional photographs or a video of available sarees on request.

3. Prices

All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR). Whether taxes are included is shown alongside the price and at checkout. Shipping is charged separately at actuals and is shown before you complete payment. We may change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

4. Orders

• An order is confirmed only after payment has been received and product availability has been checked.
• Most of our sarees are available in limited quantities. If a saree becomes unavailable after you have paid, we will contact you and refund the amount paid for that item.
• We may decline or cancel an order in cases such as stock unavailability, an obvious error in pricing or product information, incomplete delivery details, or suspected fraudulent activity. Any amount paid for a cancelled order will be refunded.
• Please check your delivery address, phone number, selected product and final amount before placing your order.

5. Payment

• All orders are prepaid. Cash on Delivery is not available.
• On our website, payment is made securely at checkout using the payment options shown there.
• If you order through WhatsApp or Instagram, please pay only to the official payment details shared by Shakti Weaves. If you are unsure whether a payment request is genuine, confirm with us before transferring money. We are not responsible for payments made to any account not officially shared by us.

6. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within India only. Delivery timelines are estimates and may be affected by courier operations, weather, holidays or other events outside our control. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address, PIN code and reachable phone number. Full details are in our Shipping & Delivery policy.

7. Cancellations, returns and refunds

Cancellation requests can be considered only before dispatch and before any agreed customisation or finishing work begins. Damaged, defective or incorrect items must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with supporting evidence. Returns and exchanges require our written approval before any item is sent back. 8. Custom orders, finishing and alterations

• Customisation, fall and edging, tassels and other finishing are subject to availability and must be agreed with us, including cost and timeline, before work begins.
• A custom order proceeds only after the design, price, timeline and any non-return conditions have been confirmed.
• Sarees that have been customised, altered or finished after purchase may not be eligible for cancellation, return or exchange, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

9. Bulk orders

Bulk orders are subject to stock availability and individual confirmation of pricing, delivery and shipping. Discounts apply only when confirmed by us in writing.

10. Product care

Care requirements vary by fabric, dye, weave and embellishment. Please follow the care instructions given in the product listing or supplied with the saree. We are not responsible for damage caused by washing, ironing or chemical treatment that does not follow these instructions.

11. Use of this website

You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of it. We may update, change or temporarily suspend the website at any time.

12. Intellectual property

All content on this website, including photographs, product descriptions, text, graphics and the Shakti Weaves name and logo, belongs to Shakti Weaves or is used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce or use this content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for the product concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Privacy

We collect and use your personal information only to process orders, deliver products and respond to your queries. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from your use of this website or an order with us will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.

These terms are read together with applicable Indian consumer protection laws. Nothing in them is intended to exclude any right you have that cannot legally be excluded.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your order will apply to that order.
